Stay Positive (aka Stay+) - “You Hate Me” Feat. Cooly G

Hot on the heels of the breakthrough success that was last year’s single ‘Crashed’ on Black Butter Records, Stay Positive -the primary creative vessel of producer Matt Farthing- returns with maybe its most colossal tune to date. Featuring none other than Hyperdub’s acclaimed leading lady Cooly G on vocals, ‘You Hate Me’ is a high-octane demonic rave-monster of a record. It takes you from nought to 60 in zero seconds, on a journey starting off in the sweaty throngs of an early 90s M25 free-party, and ending up in the darkest doldrums of 2013 bass culture. Defiant, malevolent, bone-shakingly dance-able, and hypnotically hooky, this is Stay Positive to a tee, but this time turned up to 11, and then some…

The explosive maiden release from the new Stay Positive Industries label, ‘You Hate Me’ is the first single release to be taken from the upcoming ‘Blood Brother EP’, which will mark the first Stay Positive collection since last year’s celebrated ‘Arem’.
